Plant It.

  • For landscapes with existing garden beds that need to be filled or updated this service offers a simplified design process to help maximize the beauty of your garden space. Please note that this service is for medium-large garden beds.

    • Initial site visit- Discussion of planting styles that work for our garden alongside recognizing plant pallets and textures desired for garden space.

    • Design concepts- set of drawings exploring layout, planting styles, and flowering periods formed from the site visit.

    • Planting plan- Layout of new plants to be added to garden space.

    • Plant procurement- Sourcing of plants for designed area.

    • Garden maintenance guide - A bespoke booklet created for you that provides information on how to look after the plants within your newly constructed garden.

Plan it.

  • Guided by a site survey and analysis, we embark on the stage one design phase, to craft a new garden that aligns with your client brief. This process includes an initial concept design, followed by in-depth discussions and refinement of one or more concepts. The plan encompasses the garden's structure, landscaping materials, and planting themes, completing the vision for a thriving and beautiful landscape.

    Stage 1:

    • Initial site visit - Discussion about the garden and your requirements along with a site analysis.

    • Site survey – Measurements of existing buildings, structures, hard and softscapes, and elevation changes will be recorded.

    • Formulation of the Client Brief.

    • Design concepts- A set of drawings exploring schematic layout, planting styles, flowering periods, formed from the client brief.

    • Materials document - A brief document confirming the final materials, structures and finishes for the garden.

    • Consultation meeting – Meeting in person or on Microsoft Teams to discuss design concepts, which will include materials, planting styles and costings etc.

    • Landscape masterplan – The original design concepts will then be developed as necessary and tightened up further. Two revisions of the final masterplan may be made before hourly design fees will be charged for additional revisions.

    • Planting plan -Plant layout that details a list of plants we intend to place into the design. This depicts information such as plant placement, size, and quantities.

    • Lighting plan – If required, a lighting design layout for your garden is created with recommended positions of the lighting and styles etc. Please note installation and any associated lighting diagrams/layouts are to undertaken by a qualified electrician.

      Stage 2:

    • Detailed Construction Drawings – Drawings are prepared by the design team and ready to be implemented. If any permitting or engineering is needed, it is done at this stage.

    • Materials estimate - A materials estimate and contract document setting in place the construction stage of the design and build service.

Produce It.

  • Construction Management involves collaboration and oversight during the construction phase to ensure the landscape concept comes to full fruition. This may include but is not limited to landscape setout, plant procurement and sourcing materials

    • Project Management - This covers supervision of the entire project including time management, job evaluation meetings, subcontractor hiring, variations / additions to work, and plant procurement.

    • A quoted estimate of the works - A final estimate and contract document setting in place the construction stage of the design and build service.

    • Consultation meetings - Throughout the entire process meetings will be arranged to discuss updates, project process, pricing changes etc.
